Asbestos Testing
For over 28 years, AmeriSci has provided asbestos testing services for environmental professionals just like you. We maintain nationwide accreditations including New York State (ELAP) and other States requiring separate certifications. We are also accredited with the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) Lab Codes: 101904-0, 200546-0, 200346-0, 102079-0. AmeriSci always delivers quality analytical results. Our asbestos laboratories can analyze by Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM), Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM, and Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM). We can test for asbestos in airborne samples, bulk (building materials), dust, soils, debris, vermiculite, and water samples.
Lead Testing
Our top quality lead testing facilities are able to detect traces of lead in a variety of samples including dust, soil, surface, paint chips, and air. We utilize analytical techniques like Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AA) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP), which are industry’s best metal detecting methods. Lead can be found in all parts of our environment – the air, the soil, the water, and even inside our homes.
Mold Testing
AmeriSci is one of the country’s leaders for indoor air quality testing. We specialize in the analysis of air and surface samples for mold and bacteria including: spore traps, anderson plates, tape lifts, bulk, swabs, and viable and non-viable samples. We can provide Mold Identification and Enumerations as well as Testing for Environmental Bacteria. Our results are highly accurate.
Water Testing
Our water testing services can detect asbestos in drinking or waste water. Our microbiological analysis can detect Coliform Bacteria in water. Drinking water drawn from private wells should be tested for the presence of bacteria at least once a year or any time there is a change in taste, odor, color or appearance of the well water. Our water testing is the preferred solution for many environmental consultants and homeowners.
